[letterhead]Apl 20# 1886John Muir Esq Martinez Cal.Dear Brother; I have not sent the deed to this 3 acres yet as I hoped to turn it over quickly and soon taking the little at all, But if I do not sell within 6 or 8 days I shall take the Deed and send it to you,. I had a number of chances to trade for rental property but they wanted too much for their houses. I shall try to sell quickly as David has sent 700.$ of his 2000.$ and this [bill?] will cover this week, so we can get the money all in our lot as we can do better with the money in our lot than two, If I can get out sooner money I will put it all to-gether and we will see what can be done. With Regards to you and yours I am Very Truly Walter BrownJ. and Ethel are well, Love to Annie,01227
