[letterhead]Ap 2# 1886John Muir Martinez Cal,_Dear Brother,The papers came yesterday all O.K. I am doing all in my power to trim the load before I take the Deed, I have put the Deed of Trust in my Bot in the safe deposit vault with the notes so they are safe, and in case I can sell before the 6th of this month I will not use them so I will cancel them and send them back to you with the trust deed. I am in hopes to save taking the title and make nearly two thousand dollars profit, the profit will perhaps have to be in rental property as I expect to trade instead of selling outright for cash tho' I have our cash [illegible] in view. With love to all I am Very Truly Walter Brown01226
