01306Tacoma is now a large & [illegible] town - a rival of Portland etc The hotel is very comfortable & well located You & the children would enjoy a week or two about its broad piazzas free from care or cooks grapes & poison oak. Wish you could come. The mountain is truly glorious. I must now to breakfast. Wanda & Helen are both in bed yet no doubt & so are you all I guess. Hope Annie is in good reasonable [moutery?] humor. I want to write to the children Will soon. The sunshine on the sound is dazzling this morning. The sail will be fine have done little or nothing in the wayu of work so far. Love to all. Will write again from Victoria. This hot weather will be bad for the water put in plenty charcoal, and filler through it Watch Helen
