Martinez, Feb. 6. 1896.My dear Mr. Sellers.I'm very glad you liked the little picture Keith & I sent you Keith is far more than half crazed with his fine new studies & fine dollarisk & social success, & therefore that this picture was not forgotten shows that we feel your kindness cannot be covered or dimmed by anything. Those photographs were so good I had to hide them else they would have been all begged away long ago. but I still have half of them, & never expected you would make any more.I think I told you in my last about my visit to Southern California & the lectures I had to give. I am now pegging away at my literary tasks awkward & slow as ever.Remember me to Mrs. Sellers & Frank & all the friends I saw at Your fine home & believe me ever Cordially YrsJohn Muir
