Abstract
University of the Pacific is developing a measure of quantitative reasoning that addresses shortcomings of off-the-shelf tests. Participants will learn how to build their own computer-administered test that promotes faculty interpretations of results, aligns with curriculum, and engages student motivation. The novel approach optimizes validity for institutional assessment.
