Description
Newspaper columns can take many forms, but the best are the ones where the author strongly expresses his point of view on a specific issue. This workshop will provide practical advice on how to present one’s opinion with clear, concise thoughts, from original idea to finished product. Effective use of humor and keeping a column unpredictable will also be explored. The principles and rigors of column writing can also be applied to other genres as well, especially when trying to be creative and still meet your deadlines.
