Abstract
Although twins have always been of great Interest the only early data available are upon conjoined twins. The first record of such twins, which 18 known, 1s of the Bid-dendent Maids in the year 1100 A. D. From that date to the year 1824 when the Siamese Twins were born and later made famous by Barnum and Bailey's Circus, there have been many Interesting accounts of conjoined twins, but the nature of the present work and the probable unreliability of these accounts would make any discussion on the subject of these early conjoined twins not worth while.
