Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to extend previous parasitological investigations of the San Joaquin area fishes. This study did not deal with a specific group of fish or parasite, but rather all groups of fishes and parasites encountered. As the amount of work done in California has not been extensive, more research will contribute to our understanding of these fishes and their parasites.
