Abstract
Statistical performance analysis of the recently developed UCA (uniform circular array)-ESPRIT algorithm is the subject of this correspondence. The UCA-ESPRIT arrival angle estimates are shown to be asymptotically unbiased, and expressions for the asymptotic estimator variances have been obtained. Simulation results that verify the analysis are presented. © 1994 IEEE
