Introduction/Abstract

Telomerase activity is closely related to the processes of senescence in somatic cells and immortality of cancer cells. A robust assay to detect telomerase activity in vitro is useful to reveal the role telomerase plays in cell behaviors, which is also essential for design and evaluation of telomerase inhibitors.
