Abstract
The miracle mile located a short distance from the University of the Pacific is home to 150 retail, dining and professional business focused on personal service. Due to a recent fire accident the Miracle Mile has opened a new vacancy and the owner has asked Pacific Engineering Seniors to design his two-story coffee shop. The new site will include spread footing for the individual columns to ensure a stable structure. The design will implement ENVISON and LEED standards to ensure the building serves its purpose sustainably. The University is proud to partner with small business owners and would like to utilize one Stockton’s most unique areas to give Engineering students an opportunity to get hands on experience in the field of engineering
