Abstract
EMLOR is a swimwear line that represents a blend of creativity, passion and a lifelong dream of developing my own fashion brand. When I was young my best friend and I loved sketching clothing designs and we came up with the name EMLOR, a combination of both of our names Emily and Taylor. It stuck and we said we were going to make it come to life one day. Every aspect of this installation represents my areas of interest. Graphic design is demonstrated throughout the presentation as I developed the brand identity of EMLOR, encompassing the logo, packaging, and advertising. My love for fashion also shines through as I designed the swim suits and had them hand made. I also have a soft spot for fine arts as that’s what I grew up with so I incorporated that into my hand painted tote bags as well as the canvas with the EMLOR sign. I also enjoy Interior design and I was able to tie all my interests in one with making my installation a conceptual boutique layout of what I would want my store to look like. The goal behind this project was to fulfill a passion project I’ve been obsessed with for so long. As well as demonstrating the skills I've learned as a graphic design major and fashion enthusiast. When people think of EMLOR I want them to picture amazing friendships with lifelong memories.
