Abstract/Artist Statement
"Toot It and Boot It" is a strong representation of myself as a person: light-hearted and vibrant. For most of my design work I use a minimalistic approach and follow the design principle “less is more,” making every design aspect very critical in each design. The main goal for this project was however to break out of my comfort zone, and rather than making it minimalistic, add details into my design and artwork to add layers and meaning to the project. “Toot It and Booch” is a fictitious Kombucha brand with three different flavors. Each flavor has its own respective label, as well as an aligning advertisement. As a play on the 2010’s hit song, Toot It and Boot It, is fun to say and will also be memorable and advertise itself. The name paired with fluorescent colors is meant to attract Millennials/Gen Z generations as the audience.
