Abstract/Artist Statement
Escape the Bunker is a short point and click style game made in the Unity Engine. It is inspired by a more complex game idea I had in high school. The goal of this project, rather than to fill my original expectations, is to make a finished, playable game. I got interested in computer science because I wanted to make indie games, and though I know that dream may be limited to the hours after work, I wanted to finish college with the knowledge that I can make a game on my own. I hope anyone looking at this game will recognize that it is meant to be the first step in a long journey. Rather than showing that graduating college has taught me all I need to know, I wanted to tackle something I had no experience in, make a lot of mistakes, and prove to myself that I can break through my own limitations to learn and make something new.
