Abstract/Artist Statement
For as long as I can remember I had always acquired a love towards the world’s uncanny ability to form multiple types of expressions; since, I had a hard time doing so myself. This directed me to a constant state of drawing and crafting of my expressions through the concept of design. Design is magical. Design is the objective in our communication and the structure of life itself. It is neutral in the sense if done well: anyone is able to understand what is being communicated. We are compelled and attracted to good design because of the planning and set intentions of improving our human experience. Society inflicts so many expectations on the individual, no matter where you go and what you do, there is no escape. I create designs focused on conceiving the harsh reality, history, and nature by using a modern and welcoming approach. We must remember to love, respect, and learn from our history and formulate a vision before us— which is why my work encompasses heavily concepts and thought process. My designs derive from an appreciation for what we humans do best: storytelling. Everything is by design. So take a look…
