Abstract/Artist Statement

The goal of WorkBook was to create a new type of inventory and project management application for use in technical support offices. Workbook creates a link between customers and their devices. Projects are then attached to devices with work logs so all work history can easily be tracked and updated. WorkBook was written in Python and interfaces with a relational database backend. The front end takes advantage of HTML 5, CSS 3 and Bootstrap. The end user of the application just sees a beautifully designed webpage that is intuitive to use and provides a quick way to find relevant information.
