Abstract/Artist Statement
In this fictitious project, the Mondavi Winery is looking to capitalize on the recent explosion in 21-35 year-old wine-buyers’ market by launching a series of wines. In order to meet the needs of this new demographic I named the line California Jungle. California Jungle is a wine series that is intended to help “discover the animal in you.” Each of the three labels displays a different animal print inspired by African art. The intended audience for this wine label design is the under 30 crowd who wants to make a good impression on a budget. The package design was created with that group in mind, as it is more of a gift box specific to the wine, alluding to sophistication and fun.
