Abstract/Artist Statement

I first came up for the concept of this piece last semester during a period where I was very stressed about being able to have enough time in the day to complete all of my social and school obligations. The piece is about an acrobat who is experiencing their first attempt at walking the tight rope in front of a crowd. During the performance, the acrobat gets nervous and looses his footing. The ending of the piece is supposed to be ambiguous and allows for the listener to interpret whether the young acrobat regained his balance or not.
