Reverse Side Caption

This photograph was taken just inside the city limits of Stockton on the tracks on the Stockton Terminal & Eastern Railroad on Roosevelt St. Its a gasoline four cylinder Hall-Scott make motor and is manufactured in Berkeley, Cal. There are several of them in operation on different roads in the State. They cost from ten to fifteen thousand dollars and will haul freight cars. An examination of this car will convince one that the day of freaky gas engines has passed. Get more shares in this railroad enterprise now while they are within your reach. The U. I. Co., 1016 Examiner Building, San Francisco, Cal.
