Abstract

Please join us on October 23, 2025, from 3pm-4pm in the DeRosa University Center, 211 A&B, for What’s My Research? featuring Drs. Shelly Gulati and Sebastian Dziallas (School of Engineering and Computer Science), and Dr. Mehdi Khazaeli (Assistant Provost for Research and Sponsored Programs/School of Engineering and Computer Science). Their presentations will focus around two recently awarded National Science Foundation grants. S-STEM, which provides scholarships to first year students and intends to increase the number of low-income, academically talented students that graduate in civil engineering or engineering management fields that address a strategic national and regional need, and enter a life-changing career and EPIIC, which aims to strengthen the region’s capacity to contribute effectively to megaregional, state-wide, and national innovation efforts.
