My darling Helen & everybody at home
I received your delightful letter a few minutes ago & was as you must know very glad to get a view of you all & everything about the house, We have just returned from the Grand Canon of the Colorado & it is very wonderful & grand & bewildering beyond telling It is not very difficult to reach though it is 75 miles stageriding from here but the road is good through charming forests nearly all the way & is not tiresome. Ill tell you about it when I get home, I start for home this afternoon, will stay a day at Los Angeles & another at Pasadena then straight for Helen & Wanda & Louie Muir The rest of the party are starting for Colorado
Ever your loving father
