Transcription
Martinez April 11, 1894. An agreement between J. Muir party of the first part and A.B. Coleman party of the second part. The party of the first part agrees to furnish one active gas plant and pay the sum of two thousand and dollars for same if satisfactory, the party of the second part to run same and perform all work necessary there to, and shall pay the party of the first part ten % interest per annum on the sum of three thousand dollars, and one third of all money remaining at the close of the year. The party of the second part is not to receive any pay for services until the interest on the above sum has been paid. The party of the first part agrees to give the party of the second the privilege of purchasing the plant on or before one year from date by paying the sum of three thousand dollars for plant with lease of ground for reasonable sum.
