Selby Smelting and Lead Company. Selby, Cal. June 23, 1900 Mr. John Muir. Dear Sir, the meeting was held last night and it was voted to sell Mrs. Muir all the stock as they did not see how they could raise the 1000.00. Mr. Petersen does not own any so he said. So I take full possession of money & everything as soon as Report of the Secretary is made out and signed by the President it is that you were forced to take it.
