Dear Sir:---
At the last meeting of the Board of Directors a quorum was not present. The matter for consideration was the Report of the Yosemite Valley Commission. It was deemed "best that Resolutions should be drafted in respect thereto, and adopted by the Board.
The difficulty of obtaining a full meeting was thought to be met in the present manner; that is, the Resolutions being drafted and sent to each member of the Board with the request to make such changes and additions or amendments as such Director might see fit,or approve them and return them at once to the Secretary at his office address,#222, Sansome Street, San Francisco.
In accordance with such a determination, I enclose to you these Resolutions and request your prompt action thereon,so that copies may be sent to the Yosemite Commission before the session of this Legislature.
