My dear Johnson

I send you with this today an article on the forests according to order about 1000 or 1200 words too long but you can cut it down in ruthless procrustian editorial style head tail or middle inwards to suit your purpose. I have worried 3 days over the confounded little lisping article.
Here is a [grand?] view of Sitka Bay for Drake with whom I had a good time here. Send him out next year if Burroughs wont come with the boys. Caminetti I am happy to say has been grandly defeated here & will give us no more Yo. Park trouble.
