My dea Sir:
I am requested by the Committee on the Congress on Literature which Congress is to hold sessions at Golden Gate [Mall?] in the city, on the 20" 21" 23d 24" and 25th April next to extend to you an invitation to send a paper on the "Literature [of?] Nature" at the evening session on Wednesday Apr 25".
If from any reason you should be unable to send

yourself, the paper shall be intrusted to a competent person for delivery.
The length of the paper is as you may please but the Committee feel that whether brief or extended anything from your pen would be welcome.
