January 28th 1903, Aunt H. To Mrs. Muir My Dear Mrs Muir, I found the book you and Wanda so kindly sent me, today, on buy return from a weeks’ drive through the mountains & in the Ojai valley. It was most thoughtful of you, it is by far the best book I have seen on the [ ]. I have an excellent opportunity here to study [ ] & shall refer to the book constantly. I am growing very much stronger & thoroughly [ ] giving me [ ] twice. I hear with much pleasure of all that Wanda is accomplishing in the University, and shall always be glad that I knew her at school. I hope before long to return to Berkley & see more of her and perhaps we shall sometime have a trip into thee mountains together. I hope you are stronger than when Wanda was with me. With many thanks from your remembrance, I am sincerely yours, Anna Head
