June 24 Dear Mama, We arrived here this morning, and it does seem so beautiful to be up here amorly the priker, tomorrow morning at 4.00 we start for King’s River Canon, but don’t worry were going to take it easy. We [ ] [ ] [of] [from/fine] our the special yesterday and Martinez about 6:30pm. [ ] [ ] [ ] Stage ride [ ] lasted from 2.30 AM to 4.00 AM, but it was awfully hot out in the valley.
