Portage. Wis. Nov 1st/90 My dear sister Louie Johns message reached us this morning telling us of your great sorrow. Alas! How sad that we can do so little to comfort each other in such great bereavements. I seem to have been down in the very depths, and you know how fully I can sympathize with you, but God only can lift the burden from our hearts and enable us to look beyond this life, to when there is no sickness, no sorrow, and no parting. May you my dear sister receive the soothing and comfort that only our heavenly Father can give. I send love to John and the dear little girls, perhaps John will write soon and tell us of you all. Yours in loving sympathy Sarah. Galloway
