Oakland Nov. 24, 1899 Mrs. J. Muir Dear Madam As it is so rainy I concluded that you would not want to do anything towards the removal untill the weather cleared up a little. So did not go up today as I agreed I have shiped the marble Slabs and also the cement so if it is clear I will be up Tuesday if satisfactory to you. In the morning on the 1st train. Hoping that this will prove satisfactory to you I remain Yours Truly A.W. Combs
