Dear Louise, Mrs Lawson spent the day with me on Sunday with her two little girls. She inquired for you & left love for each. She said you were brave to say go to your husband when [it] cost you so much but she [ ] you for it as it would not have been a very brave act in him to refuse so good an offer with his hopes in life. She would loved to have seen Wanda with you. Sis is out camping with a large party. Will be home on Friday after which I think it will be my turn to camp for a night with you. I think it is well with your Beloved, although he said he did not leave you & Wanda. I think he would gladly feast his eyes upon you. Both [ ] you to his aching heart but, the watch work & safety [ ] in this fight is Bravery, perfect trust & faith. Of course baby is growing prettier & more prettier. I want to see her kind love to the proud grandparents. Yours in hope & sympathy A Bush May 31st 1881
