Martinez May 26, 1914.Dear Dante, how goes the sky song? You must be busy judging by your letter silence, and so doubtless you are judging and guessing at me.I've been lost in Alaska all winter tracing old wanderings and trying to make something like a book of them.Mr Parsons, one of the most active and useful of the Sierra Club member died suddenly heart dilation a few days ago- a great loss. And in these last fog and drizzle days I took a little more cold. When these trouble clouds lift we must try to find a way to the mountain woods for fresh healing air. Send a few lines to tell how you prosper and believe me however silent ever yours faithfullyJohn Muir00447
