Martinez. California,April 4, 1914.Dear Mr. Evans:Very few of the many letters that come to me these days bring forth so good a lot of dear old Yosemite memories as yours of March 10th. I recall that first Eagle Peak excursion with lovely pleasure as the most novel, interesting and memorable of all my little trips around Yosemite walls. I have, however, forgotten the names of the party, and if they still linger in your memory I hope you will send them to me, as I should like to refer to them in another Yosemite book that may form a volume of my Autobiography continued from "My Boyhood and Youth," recently published. Please remember me to your daughters with kindest regards, and believe me ever faithfully yours,John Muir.09849
