Martinez, Jan. 19, 1914Dear Mr Parsons: I'm afraid I'll not be able to attend the Directors meeting Saturday on account of a severe grippe cold which has held me den bound two weeks or more. With this early notice you may I hope not miss me much.Mr Colby I suppose will be back by Saturday, and now that the Raker damn dam bill is out of the way he may again be free to act in all club work.With best wishes faithfully yoursJohn Muir
