(Original letter in possession of Mrs. Sarah Muir GallowayMartinez, May 7, 1912.Dear Sister Sarah:I was very glad to get your long letter telling the news of all the family and am so thankful all are in good health. I'll gladly pay a visit when the opportunity comes. At present I'm trying to clear away the huge pile of letters accumulated while I was wandering. It was a very long, hard trip over two continents, but the compensating things I found made the labor light -- gained far more than I looked for, especially in geology both in Africa and South America. As soon as I can I'll tell about [it].Love to you all,Faithfully your brother,John05191
