S. S. ChristopherPier 4 BrooklynDec. 6th 1911Dear Dr. MuirNot knowing your present whereabouts, I am writing to your home address to thank you for the booklet, which I received in N. Y.I read it carefully & must say it is splendid (although I did not actually cry).I often think of the pleasant voyage & the nice little arguments we had on the Denis. It does a muggin like me lots of good to listen to older & wiser heads. I confess our arguments broadened my mind considerably.Wishing you long life & happiness wherever you may be & with05130
