Nov. 29 1911My dear Mr. MuirI have caused a notice to be published in the daily papers that a reception would be held at the Legation tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, from 5 to 7 pm, but fearing you may not have seen it I write to05121

express my hope to that you will come to the reception & meet a few of your countrymen who live in this distant country.Mrs. Bliss asks me to say to you that she very much hopes you will give us the pleasure of lunching with us next Friday, December 1st at 1230.
