Thence I go inland 4 or 5 hundred miles to look for Araucaria Braziliensis in the state of Parana Rio harbor is a glacial fiord. A glorious place I'll return to Rio from the woods thence go to Buenos Aires. Thence to Valparaiso etc.I am feeling quite well & of course fondly hope you & family are
I wish you would tell Buel to send $100 to Mrs Margaret H. Lunam, Westfield, Dunbar, Haddingtonshire, Scotland.By postal order of course & tell her in the letter 1/2 is for herself the other 1/2 for the poor.Buel will charge to my acct of course. With all love DarlingJohn Muir
