My Dear Sir:
Will you consent to honor us by delivering a Lecture before the “Assembly of Students and Citizens”, on some appropriate subject of your own selection? These Lectures take place on Wednesdays at 2 h 45 m P.M, and should not exceed 45 or 50 minutes in duration. Can you Lecture, say, on the 2d, 9th, 16th, or 23d of Feb.? Should you consent to honor us with a Lecture , please notify me, as early as possible, 1st what day you have selected, and 2d the exact title of your subject. — Hoping to receive a favorable response from you, I remain yours
