Daggett, Cal. June 10, 1911.Dear Papa:-This is a hot day and I as wondering how you are standing the heat in the East. The little boy is rolling around on the porch floor on a sheet, with very few clothes on. He seems to be getting on all right with his gums and I think one tooth will be thru before long. He was out in the hammock a long time this morning and nearly all afternoon yesterday. He likes to watch the pretty leaves on the cotton-wood tree, and always goes to sleep when I swing him. The rest of us are all as usual. I have a better appetite than I had for a while. There is nothing new, but we are planning to go away soon.Lovingly always,[illegible]05036
