Daggett, Cal. May 28, 1911.Dear Papa:-Just a line to let you know we are well, then I am going to take this up to the post office on horseback. It is a lovely morning after our wild sand-storm of yesterday, and I will enjoy the ride. Little son is asleep after his breakfast, and I will bathe him when I get back. He is so well and so happy. He is always ready to smile and daily grows brighter.I am fine as can be. Buel will be home this afternoon from Los Angeles. Everything as usual on the ranch.LovinglyHelen.05023
