P.S. Your fine letter of April 6th has just this moment arrived.Glad everything is lovely, especially that you are gaining in flesh, and the boy in gurgling speech and wisdom.Los Angeles, Cal., April 7, 1911.325 West Adams Street.Darling Helen:-You will see by Mr. Coleman's letter enclosed that he wants you to put a price on the seven or eight acres of the Frazer tract. Your mother always thought it was worth about five thousand dollars before it had been cut up by the road. You will have to use your own judgment about it. You will notice also what he says about the wharf. You should send some reply to Mr. Coleman, thanking him for his interest in these matters.I am always glad to get your letters and postals. I trust the sand storm did no harm to any of you. Keep the little fellow warm and keep yourself warm. Buel I suppose is so used to sand storms that he regards them no more than we used to regard the fluffy winter land fogs. All goes well here, but I am very busy trying to get ready to leave in about seven or eight days.Ever your devoted father,John Muir
