New York.Dear Mr. Johnson:-I forwarded the eight photographs for the new edition of "The Mountains of California more than. a week ago.I notioed the advertisement of the "Yosemite Trails" book by J. F. Chase. The more books on the Valley, the better I am pleased, for they all help to attract visitors.I expect to be in New York before the end of April, when we will discuss the publication of my Yosemite book end other books.Ever faithfully yours.[illegible]
