Martinez, Feb 21, 1911My dear Mrs Bidwell,Your charming holiday greeting was received yesterday, for I've been away several months in Los Angeles writing a book.I'm delighted to hear from you after so long a silence. What a glorious multitude of happy memories your brief post card message recalls & how much I should enjoy a long heart to heart talk with you. In the meantime write me a long letter telling all about yourself & Sallie & the Hookers as to health & welfare during these last eventful years.Remember me to all who love you. Ever faithfully your friend,John Muir
