[letterhead] Saturday, April 3 - 09Dear Papa - Im still gaining and Dr. Cole was much pleased with my progress when he called this morning. My tongue is almost all cleared off, & I can eat all I want. Dr. said from now on I could have "good things." I was wheeled out into the garden twice yesterday - an hour in the morning & an hour & a half in the afternoon. Lovely warm weather. Mrs Hooker called for a minute & brought me more "buttercups" yesterday.Your affectionate daughterHelen04469
