dsk Martinez, Feb. 10, 1909.Dear Mr Sholes:Yesterday I forwarded your letter to the President as you directed. It is a fine straight forward statement of the Hetch Hetchy case & must be effective in helping to clear away the dense commercial fog industriously piled upon it.Your letters to Hon. W. R Ellis & W. C. Hanley & Hon. Herbert Parsons, Hon Jonathan Bourne, Jr are also very good & I heartily thank & congratulate you. Keep up the good fight. Victory in this case will go far to save all our noble godful parks-Faithfully Yours John Muir120
