Dear Papa -
Your letter inclosing [funny?] clippings was received, also the circular letter on Hetch Hetchy came safely. I am almost afraid to tackle the job of writing a letter myself, but will try and see what I can do. Mr Van Dyke has been busy, but I think will write a short letter of protest for you.
All goes well here, Im happy as ever, the weather beautiful. Nothing can beat the desert after all. Take good care of yourself.
Always lovingly
Helen
