John Muir Esq Dear Sir
You had in the heart what you [Looked for on paper Long ere this from my wife and myself as you might know?] and it will be a happy and joyfull day to us when we see your happy wife and yourself in [illegible] 28 room Looking out at the Yosemite falls. the Season has been Late the [illegible] on now all in fine order and the valley Looks Spring as yet, theres no change in [Guardian?] as yet, and nothing definite known as yet – who will be the [illegible], hoping you will drip us a line when you are coming, and with kind regards to Mrs Muir and yourself I am yours as Ever [Al?] [illegible]
