Darling Helen;
I'm so glad you are feeling so well & happy & growing so plump & robust. Have you not taken the least cold? That is the one great danger. Keep very warm & if you hear of any case of Grippe or anything like it in Daggett dont go near it for mail or anything else.
Here is one of the Stuckeen proof sheets The Dedication which must interest you.
How is your Stickeen, & the pony? Wanda's baby is getting comical & amusing.
Ive got the Matoza & Fr[u?]tas pastur[e?] rent paid until Oct 1st/09
I expect Mrs Ri to come with her rent some day this week.
I hear you are to have a visitor today. Be careful not to be led into any business bargain or promise. Kind regards to the vans & Fs & much love to thee.
Your aff F. J.M.
