Daggett, Calif. Nov. 23 - 08.Dear Papa -The Goldberg box of good things came yesterday. The baby got much excited when told who it was from, for she thought of candy right away. I gave the third box of candy to Mrs Funk which pleased her. Everything is fine, the pineapples extra good. The book will give me lots of pleasure, I always enjoy reading04327 old Plutarch. Thank you.The weather is glorious here, I never saw finer, summer weather in November. Of course I am well and happy. Have everything to make me comfortable. All the friends of the ranch send their kindest regards to you.Always yours lovinglyHelen
